(hereinafter referred to as \u201cThe Company\u201d) exist to broadly permit derivative creative activities using The Company&#8217;s characters, for which The Company holds the rights.<\/p>\n<p class=\"girlSpace02 girlRead\">All creators who engage in derivative creative activities using our company&#8217;s characters, regardless of whether they are paid or unpaid, are considered to have agreed to the contents of this license upon commencement of the use of The Company&#8217;s characters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"girlSpace02 girlRead\">The following is a broad outline of what creators can do and cannot do under This License.<\/p>\n<p class=\"girlSpace02 girlRead\">Please refer <a href=\"https:\/\/unity-chan.com\/contents\/license_en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> for license details.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"girlImage\" src=\"\/images\/imageUnityGirl03.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"girlImageTitle\">What \u201ccan be\u201d and what \u201ccannot be\u201d done by the creators under the License are as follows:<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/titleUnityGirl01.png\" alt=\"\"><\/h2>\n<p class=\"iconSquare\">Things  creators<span class=\"txtBlue\"> can <\/span>do<\/p>\n<div class=\"clearfix possibleGirl\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/imageUnityOk02.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"okBalloon balloon\">\n<ul>\n<li>\u30fb Produce derivative creative works of The Company\u2019s characters.<\/li>\n<li>\u30fb Publicly release or distribute derivative creative works of The Company&#8217;s characters that the creator has made themselves<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"iconSquare\">Things  creators<span class=\"txtRed\"> cannot <\/span>do<\/p>\n<div class=\"clearfix possibleGirl\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/imageUnityNo02.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"noBalloon balloon en\">\n<ul>\n<li>\u30fb Use The Company or The Company&#8217;s characters in a way that diminishes their value or prestige.<\/li>\n<li>\u30fb Use The Company&#8217;s characters with the intention of causing discomfort to others or to discriminate against or hurt others. Use The Company\u2019s characters for specific beliefs, religions, or for political statements.<\/li>\n<li>\u30fb Create content that could give the false impression that The Company is the seller or provider of said content without first obtaining permission from The Company to do so.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"girlImageTitle\">Regarding the Display of the Unity-chan License Logo or License Notation<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/titleUnityGirl02.png\" alt=\"\"><\/h2>\n<p class=\"girlRead\">It is not necessary to include any license notation, including the license logo, in derivative creative works of Unity-chan created by individuals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"girlRead\">In cases of corporate use, creators shall display either the license logo or copyright notice on the main body of the derivative creative work or in its description, publication information, packaging, or the public website on which it is published in order to indicate that the creator is engaging in derivative creative activities under This License.<\/p>\n<p class=\"iconSquare\">Examples of Unity-chan License Logo and License Notation<\/p>\n<div class=\"licenseNotation\">\n<div class=\"licenseNotationLeft\">\n<p>\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/imageLicenseLogo.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>This work is provided under <a href=\"\/contents\/license_en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unity-Chan License Terms<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"licenseNotationRight\">\n<p class=\"copy\">\u00a9 Unity Technologies Japan\/UCL<\/p>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<p class=\"wavyLine en\"><span class=\"copy\">\u00a9 UTJ\/UCL<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"licenseNotationCenter en\">\n<p>OR<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"iconSquare\">When using only digital asset data that does not include The Company&#8217;s characters:<\/p>\n<p class=\"girlRead\">If a part of the digital asset data of The Company&#8217;s characters is repurposed for a characters that looks different from The Company&#8217;s characters, it shall only be subject to the separately defined \u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/unity.com\/ja\/legal\/licenses\/unity-companion-license\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unity Companion License<\/a>,\u201d and not this license. <\/p>\n<p class=\"iconSquare\">When redistributing the digital asset data of The Company&#8217;s characters:<\/p>\n<p class=\"girlRead\">Regardless of whether an individual or a company is redistributing digital asset data of The Company&#8217;s characters, it shall include the entire set of license-related files, in addition to the license logo or copyright notation, distributed in a folder labeled &#8220;License,&#8221; etc. within the repository. Also, if possible, the license logo or license notation should be included in a README.MD, etc. A complete set of license-related files can be downloaded from here.<\/p>\n<p class=\"iconSquare\">Regulations Concerning AI and Machine Learning<\/p>\n<p class=\"girlRead\">Both individuals and companies are prohibited from using The Company&#8217;s characters as training data or input data for AI image generation under any circumstances.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"girlImageTitle\">Frequently Asked Questions<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/titleUnityGirl03.png\" alt=\"\"><\/h2>\n<h2 class=\"faqTitle02\">General<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"faqTitle03\">Is it possible to use Unity-chan in derivative creative works?<\/h3>\n<div class=\"clearfix faqAnswerBox\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"faqAnswerImage\" src=\"\/images\/imgFaqOk.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"faqAnswertxt\">Yes. It does not permit third parties, including Unity Technologies Japan, to freely use the copyrights of derivative creative works resulting from each creator&#8217;s derivative creative activities without the creator&#8217;s permission.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"faqTitle03\">I found a fan-made image of Unity-chan on social media displaying the Unity-chan License. Would I be permitted to use this to create content?<\/h3>\n<div class=\"clearfix faqAnswerBox\">\n\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"faqAnswerImage\" src=\"\/images\/imgFaqQuestion.png\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"faqAnswertxt\">Derivative creative works featuring Unity-chan, including fan illustrations, belong to the creator who made them. If you wish to use these, please contact the creator and obtain permission to use them.<br \/>\nWhen copyright infringement occurs in such cases, Unity Technologies Japan assumes no responsibility whatsoever.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"faqTitle03\">I am considering redistributing Unity-chan digital assets along with my own project on a hosting service such as Github.
